Update from Irene:
Hi Michelle,
we just got back this evening from a trip to Standish Hickey State Park. He is doing great.

He loves to go camping, and when we go for a hike, we just park our van in the shade, give him food and water, and he snoozes. We try not to let him stay alone for too long, but we make sure he is comfortable before we leave. When we do walk him, it is for short periods. He is great friends w/ our 2 very old cats. He does great w/ our 2.5 yr old granddaughter.

So far this summer he has gone to 4 camping destinations, and he seemed to enjoy them all. On the way back from camping we stopped to see my 87 year old mom who lives in an apt. He was a complete gentleman in her apartment, he made himself at home, he just relaxed and sat down as if to participate in the family. He is a jewel, and we are grateful to you for allowing us to enjoy him.
